Crimp capping selection for vials, fragrance and specialist closures

Match tooling, container support and finished crimp inspection to the real components

Crimp and collar closures depend on exact component geometry, material and container finish. Tooling should support the container without marking it and form the closure consistently. Similar nominal diameters do not prove that different suppliers use the same tool.

Provide the vial, bottle, closure, pump or collar as a complete set, including difficult formats and normal variation. Define how the finished crimp is checked for seating, appearance, security and damage.

For fragrance or pump assemblies, the cosmetics guide also covers filling cleanliness, presentation and labelling.
