Confirm the real product, pack and line conditions
How this machine should be assessed
This machine page should be used as a starting point for matching equipment to a real packaging process. Before ordering, the product, container, closure, label, film or component should be reviewed with the intended output, available space, utilities, operator access and changeover requirements.
For integrated lines, the machine must also be checked against upstream and downstream equipment so that conveyors, guides, sensors, guarding, controls and operator positions work together. Where samples are available, a practical review is preferable to relying on nominal catalogue suitability alone.
Information to include with an enquiry
Send photographs or drawings of the pack, product samples where appropriate, current production method, required automation level, available floor space, power and air supply, cleaning requirements and any known restrictions from existing machinery.
Do not rely on model name alone
The same machine family can need different tooling, settings, feeding or controls depending on the product and pack format.
