L-sealer selection for shrinkwrapped packs
Define film, pack size, sealing cycle, operator loading and tunnel interface
An L-sealer creates a film enclosure before shrink treatment. Pack dimensions, film fold, seal-bar size, product stability and loading method determine practical cycle and whether a chamber, semi-automatic or automatic route is appropriate.
The seal should be assessed with production film and the downstream tunnel. Film tension, contamination, wrinkles and pack movement can affect both seal quality and final appearance.
