Slatted conveyor application planning
Control container support, guide pressure, transfers, accumulation and cleaning
Slatted or tabletop-chain conveyors are commonly used for bottles, jars and rigid containers. Chain width, material, guide rails, curves and transfer plates must suit the container base and centre of gravity.
Accumulation pressure should not damage, scuff or tip packs, and a downstream stop should not force filled open containers together. The control method should release packs consistently into fillers, cappers and labellers.
Provide the complete container range, line direction, working heights, cleaning environment and adjacent-machine interfaces.
