Define feed control, settling, cut-off and the customer measurement method
Weight filling responds to mass, but product feed and cut-off still determine repeatability and practical cycle. Density variation, dribble feed, vibration, bounce and pack movement should be included in the trial.
Use the powder and granule guide for free-flowing and dusty products. The acceptance plan should state tare handling, scale or check method, sample size and product condition.
Where a checkweigher or trade-use weighing requirement applies, the customer should specify the process and responsibilities relevant to the project.
