Bottle rinsing should be specified around what needs to be removed and how the customer will confirm the result. Air, water or another approved medium can be used in different applications, but material, opening, inversion, drainage and downstream filling must be considered.
Provide clean and representative unclean containers where possible, including the smallest, largest and least stable formats. The method should not damage or contaminate surfaces needed for filling, capping or labelling.
